I received my training as a Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition's cutting-edge Health Coach Training Program.

During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. My teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.

My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health. Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.

It's great to study the theoretical, but what about the hands-on for people who can't cook? I was finding that my some of my clients knew what they should be eating, but it all broke down when they got into their kitchen. Buying greens are great, but actually getting them in your face is even better. Also, I'd always wanted to exlore more plant-based cooking techniques.

I'm also a graduate of the Chef Training Program at the Natural Kitchen Cooking School in NYC. The program provided hands-on culinary instruction as well as innovative, plant-based approaches in a small group setting. The curriculum demonstrates food as medicine without tasting like medicine. Topics include grains, vegetables, beans, soups, dressings, home remedies and party food. Yeah, I said, "party foods." What did I say about eating vegetables not feeling like a drag? Guest chefs included Alex Jamieson, Fran Costigan, Maureen Huntley, Kevin Archer and more.

And when I wasn't cooking, I was moving...

I'm a graduate of the re:AB Pilates Teacher Training Program (NYC) where I apprenticed under bestselling author, Brooke Siler, and master instructor, Cary Regan. I received 900+ hours of education both in the classroom and in the studio using celebrated Gratz apparatus. I was classically-trained in the same style & lineage as Joseph Pilates himself. While other training programs certify instructors in a single weekend, that is not the case here at vital corps. Since then, I have continued to train and study the method through workshops and sessions with top experts across the field.
