As I've set my sights on collecting 33,000 task lists from other women, one thing I never expected to hear from women was that their task list wasn't "good enough" to mail to me. Women either lament not mailing their last "really good" one or express their lack of enthusiasm about their current one.
The truth is: Their task list is totally good enough to send to me. Their unmodified task list is perfect, or perfectly imperfect. It's not being judged; it's being collected and celebrated. Eventually, it will become a work of found object, or objet trouvé, art. More on what I'm doing with the lists over here.
As an example, I had to share this task list - written on a wrinkled napkin - from a busy, working woman in New Jersey. (Thank you, Lady!) So, if you've been contemplating if your list is good enough, it is. Toss it in the mail (anonymously, if you prefer).
